Interns Wanted!

Whiteville Radio Station 1540 WTXY AM is in need of interns. Duties would include a wide array of responsibilities. Interns will have the opportunity to experience and learn about many different roles, technology and broadcast procedures.

- News gathering, writing, editing, and reporting
- Sports broadcasting: play by play, interview, show host opportunities
- On Air Music DJ shifts
- Public Relations
- Website/Photography and graphic production
- Advertising Sales
- Talk Show Host
- Sports/Gov't Meeting Video Camera Operator

This is a non-paid internship, but offers great real world experience at an actual On Air radio station. Advertising sales is NOT a requirement to take part in the internship program, but individuals can earn sales commission.
